I was in a game store in 1989 with some friends, and we saw this new game book.  The book was nice and shiny with a pretty cool picture, so - what the drek - we opened the book.  It was a game about the dark future of mankind, where magic and technology mixed with sometimes frightening consequences.  A world where dragons lived with humans, as well as elves and other new races.  Three of us eagerly bought the rulebook, and for me, started a love for the game which rivaled (and still does today) my enjoyment for Dungeons and Dragons.

Shadowrun is a fantastic RPG and one I truely enjoy reading materials on and playing.  If you are reading this, you are most likely a fan of the game too.
